Hello everybody,
Does anyone know of a calcium chew that is low in calories and tastes good? My current one is 35 per piece; 3 pieces a day. Way too much. (I can't do the huge tablet chewables.) Thanks for any suggestions.

Bariatric Advantage Chewy Bites have 250mg Calcium each and are 15 calories each.
So, for 1000mg it'd be 60 calories, 1500 would be 90.

I much prefer drinkable calcium powder to any other form of dosing. 500 mg/packet, put it in a bottle of water with a flavor stick and you're good to go!! No pills, no sweat!! Vitamins

I use the Walgreens Chewable Calcium (2 PER DAY 15 CAL EACH) comes in Chocolate and Caramel soft taffy-like pieces (good! yummy even grandkids like them!) usually on sale 2 bags of 60 chews for $5 I think! Surgeon says they are fine to use.

Bertie, I found I like the NOW brand of pure powder Calcium Citrate. It has 0 calories and 700 mg of calcium per 1 1/2 teaspoons. I mix it in about an oz of Powerade Zero. It costs around $10.00 for 75- 700 mg servings. I found mine at Super Supplements. Good luck sister... your day is almost here! Hugs |

Didn't know I had so many options. I have been taking the big GNC 600 pills. I like them fine and they only have 5 cals but are pricey. I take twice a day, but wish I could take them in the morning with other meds.
