Default Chewables vs. Gummies???

One of my options for vitamins that my doctor gave me are to take three Flinstone chewable vitamins. I can't stand the chalkiness though. Currently I'm taking a liquid vitamin, but since my tastebuds have changed, I can't stand the taste and it's super hard to get down. So I'm wondering if it would be okay to take the Flinstone gummy vitamins? I know I should compare labels, sugars etc. But I'm just concerned if the 'gummy' texture would hurt my pouch at all. I tried 3 of them last night....chewed them up good...and didn't have any problems. But I don't want to start taking them everyday until I know they are safe. I plan on calling my doctor about it tomorrow...but just wanted to see what you all thought or if any of you have tried them. Thanks!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

As long as you chew them they should be fine. I would not take all three at once because your body can only absorb so much at one time. Spread them out through out the day.

My program says not to the gummy vitamins, I don't know the reasoning but they call them out as a no-no.

I use Centrum Chewables. I take one in the morning and one at night.

My doctor told me no gummie vitamins either...something about them not digesting well, or being absorbed well....I am curious to hear what others say because we all seem to get such different advice.

My doctor told me that the gummies are okay and I have been taking them since week 2 after my surgery... I hate the taste of chewables as well...

I was wondering about the gummies too. I got used to the regular Fintstones with Iron and bought the one with more multi vits and don't like it.

My surgeon said gummies are fine but said to really watch the sugar content.
