Default Iron anyone found any that works without the problems.
I need to take iron. Mine is just a little bit low. I have tried the ones from Bariatric Advantage but it gives me problems with constipation even taking Miralax and stool softeners. I don't mean a little problem I mean really bad. lol Has anyone found any that do not have these side effects??? Help please...

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.

I use the celebrate chewable iron and haven't had an issue with constipation yet. I have historically had issues with constipation even without taking extra iron so for me it seems to be working well.

Oh no!!!!! I just was notified that my iron was low too (it was 14 don't know what normal is) and I just bought the Bariatric Advantage chewable iron. My dang doctors office didn't even tell me how much to take so I am totally lost. I've had a call in for the last too days but no return call. And to beat the iron, they also informed me via voicemail that I have some sort of infection going on too!!!! Still no return call Anyway, would love to know if you find something that works without plugging you up and I sure hope it doesn't happen to me. Constipation is the worst, I rather throw up!

It might not be so bad for you. I have always had this problem but it is so much worse after surgery. I still haven't bought any more yet.. I think mine was 16 so we are close. I will let you know if I find something that works.
