Default shakes

ok so i went to buy a protein shake powder at the drug store yesterday, OMG! How many forms can they have of this stuff anyways? I want to try to lose some more weight before my next dietician appointment. (She didn't say i had to i just thought it would be cool). And since i hear you all talking about the protien shakes you have to drink i thought it would be a good time to check them out. So how do you know which type, brand to buy, Is it hit and miss until you find the right one or.......? I ended up buying the cheapest. Any ideas here for me?Oh yeah, i know ask the surgeon but i won't be seeing him for awhile. I guess the dietician could tell me but that's not until the end of April. Thanks

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well for this I would say it is a hit or miss kinda thing. You just have to find one that is high in protein, low in carbs, low in sugar. And for me, it requires tasting good.

I have found that I like 100% Whey Protein powder by Optium. It is sold at GNC and other places. You can look it up on the internet and purchase there as well. It does not have the grainy, gritty taste as a lot of them do.

hey krys...
well its all about personal choice.
I do make sure the brands i try
are not loaded with to much fat,
or sugar or sugar alchols and that
the carbs are lo too.
OTHERWISE its all taste...i am a lazy
gal and i buy ready made shakes i love
the carb control ADVANT EDGE shakes
sold in 4 packs.....
JUST try to find samples!
MANY swear by the unjury brand chocolate
but i hate mixing them in the blender im always
in a hurry.....
so try and read labels!
THERE are bariatric sites that sell shakes
and if u ask they will send you out some
sample flavors to try this way your not stuck
with a huge cansiter that you paid alot for!
GOOD LUCK
LISA
PS: i also love the STALLONE PUDDINGS! banana cream is heaven!

All help possible is greatly appreciated. I am still waiting for a payoff from the toothfairy for one she missed years ago that I should have several years on compounding interest to help pay for this site.
