I was looking for the best protein shake (store bought) I am currently using body fortress which has an awful taste and I was hoping someone can give me some clue as to what else kind of shake I can drink that has an ok taste.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Protein shake flavors preferences vary widely between post ops. I'd suggest you try going to vitalady.com , and picking out some individual samples to buy. This is likely the cheapest way to find a protein you like. One option that I still use today, is to get an unflavored whey isolate protein, an add it to soft foods, or use it to make your own shakes with ground fruits or berries and using Torani SF syrups. My best advice is to go and order samples from places and try them to find one that works for you. there is unjury, nectar, chike, all of which you can order sample packets of from their websites.

Or if you do want to use the powder you have go to

Bariatric Foodie

or

theworldaccordingtoeggface

they both have recipes to make your protein shakes yummy!

Chike isn't bad, they generously sample you for free.

But, to make things easy on me I use Pure Protein (pre made, pre mixed..)all I do is give it a little shake and pop open the can. They are better cold but I am used to them even room temp. If you get the can (not the bottle) I think they are 35 gr of protein. I like Choc, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream.. but haven't tried Vanilla.. others report loving Vanilla. I get them at Vitamin Shoppe but they can be found in other places and online. I also use New Whey tubes.. they are 42? gr of protein.
I mix one with 32 oz of water and ice. So I get it down when I drink the water.
That has been very convenient. (Grape is yucky) I like watermelon and fruit berry.
My girlfriend mixes hers with instant Lipton decaf lemon flavored ice tea... These are
my 2 favs (if there is a fav) right now.

I use GNC 100% Whey Protein when I make shakes I use the vanilla flavor and add fruit to it. It's not grainy like some of the shakes is what I like about it and the taste to me is good. But everyone's taste are different so you might just need to get a few samples as suggested till you find one you like.

I like Champion Pure Whey protein stack. I agree with RagDoll... The vita lady has a large sample selection. I'm fortunate enough that I live only 7 miles from her so I can taste for free right there!
