I am supposed to get the B12 shot every 3 weeks....and have talked about doing them myself. I'd done shots in the past and you can buy autoinjectors for a lot of different meds to do subQ or IM (subQ is shallower, IM goes into muscle)

I will say that the 1st 1 I got I felt really really great, it was like a lightbulb went -on- and the tiredenss & depression feeling down just disappeared immediately when the dose hit my system....but after the last 2 we have started upping the dose..my hardest issue is making it into the doc's office to get them! so I've not been regular on getting them.

the past several months have been tough and I really need to get back on the "militant" track with everything..priorities!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks for the link Lisa. And Bree thank for the insight as always. I have a friend who does her own b12 injections but she kind of had special circumstances so maybe she was given the ok to inject herself due to that. I was thinking though it might not be a bad idea....I'm somewhat of a regimented control freak and wouldnt want to go to the dr every 3 weeks lol! I'd much rather add it to my chart and do it myself. I just think after reading a lot that the benefits of the injections outweigh those of sublingual and im having some energy issues....we'll see. Im gonna try to get in with my regular dr next week. Ill let you all know what i find out.
