Default Isopure

Hi guys! Been doing some catching up this morning with everyone and I had a question. My surgeon suggested Isopure drinks (20 oz and 40 grams of protein) because I seem to be a little lactose intolerant. I have tried the Alpine Punch flavor and was wondering if anyone else has a favorite flavor? You cannot beat the protein in those things, but I find myself dreading the drink every day, but it is better than spending all of my time in the bathroom!

Also, is it normal to hit a stall 3 weeks out? Last week, I didn't lose a pound, but this week it has been rather slow too and I have started walking and upped my fluids.

I also seem to drink a lot. My hubby did too, but some of my friends who had it done a week before cannot get the amount of fluids in that I do. Should I worry?
Happy 4th of July!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congratulations, you're doing well.
Keep up the good work, and don't worry about the little bumps and humps.

P.S. Moving this to Vitamins and Nutrition.

YEAH ur at the first little stumble in the road were the body is adjusting and catching up to things.
AS for me i didnt like the isopure post op they were to sweet for me.
IF they work for you just go with it!
I used when i wasnt in the mood for the milky shake type protein drink
a NECTAR fuzzy navel variety that i enjoyed. I would freeze them like
slurpee/slushies and take them to the beach all summer.... were good
and got my liquid and protein in so i didnt dehydrate. I wouldnt
stress the fact that you have no problem with your liquids
it will keep you well hydrated!

yep me too lisa. i started out thinking i could drink the juice ones. i bought a case right before surgery and threw the whole thing out when i got home. i couldnt take it. i dont do well with "juicy" types of protein supps.

i dont think you should worry about how you stack up to others in terms of loss or how much you can take in. we're al different. you're doing good keep it up.

Thanks, guys! The drinks are sweet, but I take it in as fast as I can to get through it. I keep thinking Protein, Protein!
Does anyone have a recipe for a coffee drink with protein?
I am craving soda today, I want a diet pepsi so bad, but I will not have one. I am hoping it is like dreams and once you state it, the craving goes away. LOL!
