Default Protein Intake

So I found out that today I only got in about 38 grams of protein (thank you Sharkpeople.com) so I have to use the Prostat 64. Tonight I used the Butter Pecan and it was pretty good! I made it to almost 70 grams with adding that lil 2 oz shot.

Edie, if you havent tried the Butter Pecan yet, I think it is better than the Wild Cherry. I am going to try it in a cup of milk tomorrow and see how it tastes.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

This is the thing I have the most stressed about. I know this sounds crazy, but I worry about losing my hair. I have ALWAYS had thick, thick hair and I definitely don't won't my hair to start falling out, although I know it is going to.

Yes, I am sorry to say that it will. There really isnt much you can do for it. Just make sure that you get your protein in to help. I use the Prostat 64, take Biotin and use Biotene shampoo and conditioner. I am thin headed to begin with, so it scare the mess out of me! LOL

i think we've all worried about this even though some do not admit to it. the truth is, it will shed for sure. you will not go bald, you will not lose it all. but it will come out in the shower, in combs and brushes and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. you will get past it.

I am losing alot of hair too. But I do not let it bother me becasue I will not lose all of it. It will just get thin. I am just so thrilled that I feel so much better and all the energy I have not had in so many years. I am just so tickled pink that my health is getting so much better with the weight loss and it is so worth losing my hair. I guess that comes with the territory of gastric bypass. I know it will all come back later on. My daughter has a very thick head of hair and she lost almost half of her hair by the summer, but now her hair has all grown back and she has a thick head of hair again. To lose all that unhealthy weight it sure is worth it to me. I am sorry if I offented anybody but that is my opinion.

It's unfortunate that it happens, none of us likes it, but if you takr in all your protein, take your vitamins, and I swear by the Biotin supplements. I must say my hair is growing in better than it was before (my hair was real thin to begin with--I'm 57 and had total hysterectomy at the age of 32 so that lead to thinning hair also) So don't worry too much, yes, it's scary at first when you see so much hair in the sink etc. but it's not too bad. Good luck to all going through it.
