Default Protein Powders

Hello, I am interested in getting more protein in my diet (hoping it will curb my urges to eat when/what I shouldn't). Why types to you use??? I have heard of several and I am looking for an unflavored that I can add to foods/drinks. How is that UnJury brand??? Let me know..
Thanks
Laurie

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I went thru a spell with NEW WHEY protein bullets (45 grams) but my nut told me our body is not capable of absorbing this much at one time. I use PROFECT bullets (25 grams) and Syntrax Nectar -23 grams per shake (I'm crazy about the peach)

I also bought some of the Special K crystals you can add to water (gives a bottle of water 5 grams with no sugar). I know Kenya uses unjury....Kim & I think Edie use Prostat (15 grams in one ounce shot) .I'm sure you will get a LOT of responses to this thread, as everyone has tried them all and has their favorites!!!

I dont use an unflavored one. I buy mine at GNC and its the 100% whey vanilla ice cream flavor. I have one shake a day. I use the receipe that I got off of here that is called Shellys protein shake. I drink one a day. But I do know alot of people use an unflavored one and add it to things.

I bought a raspberry flavored shake mix from GNC. I drank it when I first got out of the hospital and the taste reminds me of that time. I just can't get past the taste now. maybe I will go with just buying another flavor, or go to the doctors and ask for samples as was suggested earlier.

they are these little plastic tubes (they look like over-sized test tubes) that have 2.5 - 3 ounces of liquid...New Whey is 3.1 ounces...but in about 3 or 4 swallows, you get 25 grams of protein!

Protica Research

The NEW WHEY got to where it was making me sick, but I LOVE PROFECT!!! It comes in about 12 different flavors (I LOVE PASSION FRUIT)

I have used the Vanilla and Strawberry whey proterin powder, vanilla I got at walmart and then I found Purtians Pride and it was cheaper even with the shipping and different flavors, my Walmart only carries vanilla and chocolate, wanted something different, they told me at the drs office to use unflavored after surgery because you can get your protein by putting it in different things like mashed potates and other stuff and still get some protein.

I buy mine at GNC or Vitamin World. I get 5lb tubs of protein powder. I ONLY use pure isolated whey!!! I have some French Vanilla and some raspberry right now--2 different brands. Only difference is the raspberry one is sweetened with Stevia, the Vanilla with Splenda--they both are delish! The difference in sweetener isn't noticeable at all.

I HAD a chocolate mint--which I thought was going to be so yummy... The flavor was so dark and heavy. I felt like the stuff sat in my gut like a rock--even though it was only flavor! That's just me though.
