Good evening everyone!

I am just starting this journey, so I hope to have several more posts as I get started on this road.

I had an initial meeting with Dr. Chae at the National Bariatric center in south Denver last week and found him to be very considerate and thoughtful in his explanation of the entire lap-band procedure. He made me very comfortable with the process and explained both the pros and cons of the procedure. I will be meeting with several other physicians over the next month or so, but I thought I would join some boards to help share the experience.

I will do my best to keep everyone posted of my experience!

MIN, so happy to meet you. I am 6 weeks out and I had Dr Chae also. He was so wonderful. I had my surgery at St Joseph's hospital because he contracts through Kaiser. I had total trust in him and he was very reassuring. You will have a great surgery with him. Good Luck. Where in Colorado do you live? I live in Aurora.

Thanks Donna -- it is great to hear from an actual patient that Dr. Chae / National Bariatric Center is a good practice. I was hoping to get feedback on these forums to help me with my decision.
