Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi, Bubblyangie,
Who did your op at Heartlands? Did you have open or keyhole surgery?

"Keyhole" instead of "lap". Very interesting.

Hi Doc,

Yes Sorry, I have tried to chat using the terms everyone else uses, but to be honest there are a lot of differences, and it gets confusing for me sometimes... LOL but they do use laparoscopic, but very often "keyhole" is used when things are being explained...LOL

How are you Doc, you are always here for others, just wondered how you are?

God Bless

Hi Doc,

Yes in the uk that is a most common term although in hospital the medics still use Lap also....Funny the different terminolgy of things, since being on this site, I have had to look things up before as I haven't known what folk have been talking about...lol

Hope you are ok Doc, as you are always around for everyone else, just wondered how you were..

Hugs..

In our automotive engineering program, we often have students from lands where they learned the British terminology for vehicles (Nepal, India, etc.) I have had to make a translator to go from British to American and back so that they don't get confused, because we don't use the same terms at all.

What was it Churchill once said? "Two peoples divided by a common language"?
