I am having a gastric bypass with Dr. Ingram in Schenectady, NY on December 10. I would love to hear opinions/experiences with her or the group at Ellis Hospital.

I have not met her yet and don't know her track record, so any help would be great. I have a list of questions for her when I do see her.

This is Esha hijacking Amina's account. We both had Dr. Ingram. She is absolutely FABULOUS!!! She has a great track record and she has great bedside manners. After she was in surgery most of the night, she came to check on me when I was admitted for severe dehydration. I was quite impressed. Ellis bariatric in general has been a very positive experience for the both of us.

Both Myself and Amina had Dr. Ingram. She is an incredible dr. ! She has an excellent track record and a great bedside manner. I was admitted for severe dehydration. She had been in surgery most of the night but she came to check on me anyway. I was quite impressed. She also came in the next day to check on me. I have had no problems except the normal expected stricture that can occur.

I had Dr. Ingram and absolutely love her. Bedside manner, A+, Her knowledge of the procedure A+. Ellis Hospital staff care and there is one nurse there that is extra special her name is Margi. Its almost like she is psychic. I had an OPEN Gastric Bypass on 7/28, I ended up with a staph infection and had to go back in on 8/24. I have a wound vac in my stomach that they say will be another 4 weeks. outside of all this, I feel pretty good with over 70 pounds gone.
