Hello

I'm currently waiting on my date for WLS, I completed all of my appointments etc. and have obtained approval from my insurance.

Is anyone a patient of Dr.Schweitzer's? What has been your experience with him and his staff?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi,
Based on your picture, you could almost be my twin ! I currently weigh the same amount (around 430lbs) and am looking into bariatric surgery. And I am filling out the John Hopkins Bayview online info request today. I was wondering, how was your experience with Dr. Schweitzer ? Was he patient ? Informative ? Pleasant ? How was your surgery ? Any complications ?

Default Dr.S

Hi

Dr.S is a great Doctor, I have heard some people say that he is not personable, but he was nice and funny with me, but most of all, he knows what he is doing, I did a lot of research and he is one of the best around. I had no complications and my wounds healed very fast, I was home in 2 days. The staff is nice, but you have to really call and check on your paperwork and appointments, they have lots of patients and in their office the squeaky wheel gets the oil. My overall experience has been a 10 so far. Yesterday was my first day back to work and I'm beat ,but I'm down 43 lbs in 5 weeks! Please feel free to ask me anything and keep in touch.
