Just now getting around to this.

California Bariatric and General Surgery Associates practicing out of Arcadia Methodist. My surgeon was Dr. Bengt Pehrrson, but there are 2 other surgeons in the practice and they both seem very nice. I love the surgery coordinator and nurses.

The nutritionist is just ok. She seems confused by some of my questions and seems to be reading into my questions, rather than just answering them. She did, however give a lot of information and my understanding of what to do was miles ahead of others I have seen.

Arcadia Methodist hospital was great. I had a private room, the nurse carried a cell phone with her and the extention to that cell was written on a white board. So, when I needed my nurse I could just call her directly. I didn't have to push that call button, wait for someone to answer and then wait for that person to find my nurse.

The morning nurse needed to be a little more educated about bariatric surgery, as she had me take 5 pills at the same time. But when the surgery coordinator called to check on me and I told her about that, she apologized and she promised to educate that nurse.

I highly recommend them
