Well I had my Bypass done at Soundshore Medical Center in New Rochelle, New York. The doctors name is Leonard Maffucci (sp) his team mate is Madhu Rangraj. Im awful at spelling their names but you can find them here: A Medical Service
Do you contact them or do you want (me) to contact them? I'm not sure how this works...

Dr Arif Ahmad is an Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon(Fellowship Trained). He specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery. This is cutting edge surgery done with small incisions and minimal pain . I'm new here, and had my WLS 3 years ago, in Mexico....insurance wouldn't pay here, and the cost was very prohibitive, so I went to Dr. Gilberto Ungson, in Hermosilla, Mexico....it was, without a doubt, the most fantastic thing I could have ever done. Other than the language barrier, there were really no problems, and the difference in cost was phenomenol! I was treated like a princess, the medical care was outstanding, the doctor even came to my hotel room after discharge to check on me...it was a great experience for me. I could never have afforded it state side....I can't say enough good things about the doctors or the hospital...Dr. Ungson was, and still is an outstanding man. They all were....I guess I need to shut up, I could go on forever about Dr. U and the whole process....3 years ago, and I went in at 356 pounds, I now weigh 136.....it has changed my life totally! WOW! That's all I can say....wow....

I agree with Frootloop, ALSA is the best, I had Dr. Boone. I was impressed by the seminar, which convinced me I needed this surgery, and I love everyone in the office, and the nurses, I have needed them on the phone a few times and they are readily available. They don't "overbook" patients, so you don't feel like a "file" to them, you are a person.
