Question North Carolina

I live in N.C. and considering GBS and looking for a surgeon. Not sure how to go about finding one. I live on the coast if anyone has any information it would be appreciated.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I have just gone for my first visit for GPS, My gyn Dr says Dr. McDonald at Pitt in Greenville has been doing the surgery for 30 years. He is going to do mine. I live in Deep Run.

Default Wilmington

I'm going to Dr. Miles in Wilmington. I have several friends who had their surgery by him and all have had GREAT results. Not sure where on the coast of NC you are, but this is the one in my area.

The original post is 4 years old.
However, for those who have the same question.
1) Check which surgeons/bariatric centers are in your insurance co!s loop.
2) Check the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery's member search page. The link is American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery| Member Search .
