Default Sarasota Florida, Dr. Patrick Fitzgerald

I had my RNY in November, 2007 from Dr. Fitzgerald. I can't say enough amazing things about Sarasota Memorial Hospital's Bariatric Program. I warn you though, it's strict and not over quick. They put you through the ringer and I'm glad, I was pretty much totally prepared for what was coming. Everything has to be done just so. You have to go to Nutrition classes, they are pretty enlightening, they have a great dietician who goes over EACH step of your eating process before and after and their Program Coordinator Patrice is a success story herself. Dr. Fitzgerald was voted surgeon of the year for Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I saw him every day of my stay at the hospital too. The info gathering part of the approval process is rigorous, but if you work with helping them get the stuff everything goes perfectly smooth. Got my approval first try. thank god.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
