Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  The Obesity Consult Center at Tufts - New England Medical Center in Boston, ma. I had my Laproscopic Gastric Bypass surgery on 1/29/2008 by Dr. Julie Kim at Tufts - NEMC in Boston, Ma. I was surprised by all the testing and appointments that had to be fulfilled, from psych appointments to nutrition appointments to having to take behavior modification classes before the surgery would be approved. I was very impressed with the attention and care I got from everyone, from surgeon to technician. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it with them.
