Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Newbie that is 3 years post-op, need to be remotivated Hello everyone. I stumbled across this site and must tell you I am so excited about it. I had my WLS Jan. 2005. I started at 298 and reached my goal weight a year ago, losing a total of 161lbs. The only problem is I gained back 45lbs. over the last year. I moved from Maine to Florida leaving my surgeon, dietition, and post op support group behind. I had no idea how important they were in helping me with my weight loss. It takes the support of people who understand what it takes to have WLS. I just wanted to introduce myself, and let you all know I'm glad I found you!!
