| Help! I'm outta control!!!
It's not carbs but it's high protein, high fat protein snacks! Nuts and cheese!
This is true confession time. I have to admit I'm a foodaholic! I'm a stress eater. I'm feeling some stress right now since we came back from vacation. My house is a wreck since we came back and I just can't get a grip on it. Between working and getting kids to activities and doctor's appointments, the house is a disaster. Pure chaos! OK, I feel better since I've got it out! This morning I've got to go pick up my son from a friend's house then I have an appointment in Nashville this afternoon so I'm going to try and get some things done this morning. Thanks for listening!!!
Living in chaos!
Janie

Ahhhh, beware of high fats as well as carbs.
Don't forget the water, either.
You've got it off your chest now, so I'm sure you'll be able to get back on track.

I hear you! It's really hard for me not to take a handful of nuts or cheese here and there throughout the day, and suddenly I am grazing. Make a point to sit down if you really want them, measure it out, and then eat. It's still better than bad carbs! The first step to change is admiting the problem- LOL, I am only kidding! Stress makes this even harder, and it's just time to refocus. I need to do the same, so let's hold each other accountable!

| When I start getting that outta control feeling, I think about what's really bothering me then take steps to correct, or even just get the illusion of control Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon and, hey, it beats the stuff I used to eat!

Whenever I am out of control in housecleaning, I begin by simply cleaning the sinks to a shine. I read about it in flylady.com and I now cannot even begin to clean my kitchen or bathroom without cleaning the sink first.
Just like you didn't gain the weight in one day...you didn't crap up the house in one day. Do a measured time per "job" and then STOP...you won't be able to do it all at one time or in one day. Don't do one job for more than one hour at a time. Kitchen for 15 minutes....living room for 15 minutes...bedroom for 15 minutes. rotate until you see some order in your life again.
One last thing...if you keep your sinks clean and family members see more order, you may see some order in them, too!

Thanks for all the encouragement and the advise. I've heard of flylady and used to get on her website some. Think I need to go back!!!
I went all day yesterday on plan so I'm shooting for another day today to be on plan. Didn't have any nuts yesterday and only lowfat cheese, one stick for an afternoon snack.
Thanks again!!!
Janie
