Question 17 Months After Rny And I Am So Afraid Of A Major Weight Gain-help Please

I have been away from here for nearly a year and it has been 17 months since rny. i lost the 100# but keep playing with +/-of 5ish lbs. I eat 'anything' that i want and get tummy aches quite frequently. what is the LPT OR WHATEVER THE INITIALS ARE? I need to get back in control but feel that my old habits of thinking i can handle this bite or that are slowly possessing me a lb at a time. PLEASE someone helpme. I should have stayed with all of you. But along with the weight loss came a new lifestyle, a boyfriend (?are they still'boyfriends' when you are in your 50's?)...but I degress; i need to get the 5+ lbs off..it makes a difference as to whether I can wear the size 6 or the size 4. Sounds trivial I know but I started this journey as a 22W.
I am so happy to see the names of some of you that helped me so very much when I was so unsure and soooo scared. I feel like a bad friend, leaving you all when my 'problems' were over. I want to re-join you'all if you will have me again.

Love ya,

Donna

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Glad you are back. I have been off the site for a few weeks and realize this is actually neccasary to talk to my friends or at least lurk in the shadows. Take Care. Kathy

Welcome back and we are all here for you, I would be so lost if not for these wonderful people and they have helped me so much with my journey. There are times I get so busy and just do not have time to write anything, but I try to just lerk when that happens and just reading the posts gives me the inspiration that I need to be on track and knowing these people are here for me any time I need them.

Ohhhh, Donna!!! I'm excited for you! I am currently right about your same height and am wearing the same size you "were" in. To hear you mention that you are working between a size 6 and 4... I just... I DREAM of such a day. Heck, I have dreamed of such a day since I was a junior in high school when I was wearing a size 8. If I ever get to the point where you are now... not only will I be hardly able to believe it (and thanking god with HUGE blessings), but my family and friends of many years will hardly be able to believe it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... excuse me while I day dream for just a few moments.... Okay... I'm back now. I think you have done AWESOME! WOW it is just so awesome.

I'm about where you are. I'm 16 months out and having problems getting the last 40+ pounds off because of snacking. I'm not gaining but I'm not losing either. I've lost 110+ lbs. I was like you and got away from the boards and it was deadly for me!!! So I'm back and get more and more motivation each day to get back on track. Glad you're back! It's a daily struggle but with everyone's support here we can do this!!

Janie

Welcome--I love it here, and there is so much wisdom here. I'm looking forward to seeing your posts and how well you will be doing! Although, I must say my next size down is the size where you started. However I am so grateful for my current weight.

Smiles,
Becky

Welcome back Donna!!! Thank you for not forgetting us.
Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss, you've don sooo well!!!
I hope you'll share your pics with us, that will show us how beautiful you are, and at the same time, help you put a lot into perspective.
While whether it's size 4 or 6 is important to you, have you ever made a list and considered what has improved for you? Have you made a list of your hopes and fears? If you haven't, I suggest that you do so, putting things into writing will help you put things into perspective and give you the incentive to control what you eat and how you eat.

Never forget, protein first--at least 60g per day, then veggies then carbs, water/non-caloric, non-caffeine liquids at least 64 oz per day, and no drinking while eating and at least 30-60mins (depending on your surgeon) after meals.

((((((HUGS))))) May your journey continue to go well and happy.
