Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Amy,
I can relate. It has helped me tremendously to be here and reading and talking to people about it. I reviewed the articles about the rules for your pouch. I had gotten sloppy about not drinking within 30 minutes and have really gotten strict about that again and it has helped. Even if your pouch is okay, having liquid in there too soon will just send the food sliding down and then you're hungry sooner.
There's a great article posted here somewhere about the issue of pouch stretching that basically says it's supposed to stretch somewhat, but if you really want to know the size of your pouch, this doctor has people measure out 1/2 cup servings of cottage cheese and eat it until they feel full. You can see how much you've eaten and that's how big it is.
I don't know a lot about revisions, but I do know that getting back to the basics of using the tool that you have can help.
Take care!

I am 7 & 1/2 years post op and I have pretty much forgotten about almost everything you just posted! Thank you so much for the reminder.

I struggle with portions and especially the grazing... wow!

I'm contemplating going back on the post-op full liquid diet for 5 days to get back on track and shrink my pouch back up to where it should be. Bariatric surgeon told me it could happen... and to start new. Yikes!
