Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Yeah - you had a dumping episode. I had a real bad one a couple months ago on Australian licorice. Thought I was going to die. I was probably 10 - 11 months out at the time. So I think it is a matter of alot of sugar in a short amount of time ( something really sugar-packed and ate at one time ) I am thinking maybe on an empty pouch. Was that the way with you. I felt drunk - or drugged - did you??

certainly sounds like a dump. I don't think you get more sensative farther out, if anything you get more tolerant, but timing can be a factor. I can eat something sweet if I'd had protein recently, but will dump from the same thing if it's been several hours since my last meal and I'm getting close to snack/meal time.

Yep. I've had the same thing. I did it once with an ice cream cone... thought I'd die. I'd had a baby cone, and it was fine. But I tried it with a regular child's cone and WHOA....

I agree with Barbie. It sometimes depends on how long it's been since a good helping of protein.

I hate dumping, but it's my friend... so I won't argue!!

I agree with you Steph
I hate to dump...but it keeps me in check....dumping is my friend.
I have only experience it a couple times but it lets me know my pouch is still there and watching over me.

It does sound like a dump to me...
most likely on an empty or close to empty pouch.

Some stuff can still be trial and error, even after quite a while out.
Hope you're feeling fine and dandy now.

I know what you mean. I did that last month with a serving of no sugar added ice cream. It was horrible!! I couldn't stop sweating, shaking, vomiting, or crying for about 45 minutes! I finally fell asleep and woke up 6 hrs later hung over really bad. DH ripped me a new one and threw out my sugar free desserts. I won't do that again!
