| Day 4 Kaye Bailey 5 day POUCH TEST
Today is the same as tomorrow.
I am so thankful i elected to do this
plan today because it kept me away
from snacking on any of the candy
around here. IT sure rided the urges
as i knew it would.
HOWS others doing????????????
hang in there...1 more day to go.

| Mornin' Lisa - yesterday was my first day without snacking on Halloween candy - oh, and my other first - I went jogging/walking - sort of alternated. Life is definitely changing I'm wondering if they recommend the "reset plan" for when we get stuck for several weeks? Hope you have a great day!

Great job, Lisa. I was just wondering if you thought I should try this plan your doing or do you think I need to try the 10 day plateau breaker to try to break this plateau that I've hit? Do you think they're about the same? Please let me know.

Christy I would say that you shouldnt do either one of these. you are way to new and your body is just healing and unfortunaly there are stalls in the begining and all the way thru this jounrey. you could always check with your surgeons office or maybe Doc will be on soon but I would say your way to soon to be doing anything like this. You only had surgery a month ago. I would increasee your protien and your liquids.

Thanks Sherrie. I also have a doctor's visit Tues. I'm sure he'll let me know if I need to do anything different.

Stalls at 3-4 weeks for a few weeks is quite common. Your body needs to heal completely first before going anywhere next.
The type of getting back on track diet that Lisa/fr1endly2 is doing is for those who have reached their goal, and having some trouble sticking to the recommended eating pattern. I don't recommend anyone doing this type of thing within 18 months of their surgery. If you are still on your losing stage, even if you have hit a plateau, stick to protein first, water 64 oz, and exercise. During the losing phase, upping your calorie intake by 100 cals or so may break the stall, because that tells your body that you are not starving.
