Hi all. First of all let me say that I have really enjoyed reading about your life changing experiences! I am really looking forward to being able to join you! I am seeing Dr. Mattar for my surgery. I am going to have the RNY as long as insurance goes as planned. My insurance has this pre-existing condition thing and I think that I should be ok. I have Anthem BCBS Indiana. They say as long a I haven't been treated in the 6 months prior to getting coverage with them then I should be ok. I haven't so I guess we will see. My Dr put me on the Liver Reduction Diet and it is going well I think. I started it 2/8/10 and have lost 15.5 lbs. I have to lose 25 to get paperwork submitted. I was wondering if anyone else with Anthem had to deal with this Pre-existing thing. Any answers would be great. I know all insurances are different but hopefully someone will know a little about it.
