Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
my psy was not covered by khp so i had to pay out of pocket and it took all of 10 minutes he just asked me questions about myself and why i wanted to have surgery
yes i was approved and it took about 1 month after i had all the test done i had to do but getting all the test done took about 6 months but the ins like i said approved me in a month and i am almost 2yrs out in oct and have lost 129lbs and verty happy with myself and the way i feel did khp pay for your psy eval!
i already had sleep apena i had to have a cardiology appt pulmonary appt i had xrays a doppler on my legs and chest x ray i had an endoscopy i did not have sleep study cause i already had apena as far as diet i had two week diet 2 protein shakes a day and a small meal for two weeks and the day before surgery i had a liquid diet i did not have a supervised diet because i had tried to lose weight thriugh weight watchers and through dr plan and failed so i proved that i could not lose on my own so good luck and keep me posted
I thought Keystone Health Plan East only required that your BMI be over 40, some complications due to weight, and apsy eval. I was not informed of any proof of diet by the clinic I am working with. They stated they were going to submit my info to insurance as soon as i get my psy eval.
