Well, I met with my WL surgeon and NUT today. Everything went really well. Tomorrow, after the surgeon dictates all his notes the clinic will fax over all my paperwork and records to the insurance company.
So now I wait for the approval/denial. I've heard that it might be in as little as 3 business days or it might take up to 30 days, depending on whats going on with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I will be glad to get this over with and move on. My crazy brain started thinking on the way home, and I know this sounds soo silly, but what if the insurance company doesnt think I am "sick" enough??? I mean, yes, my BMI is over 40 and I am 100lbs and more over weight, but I really dont have any co-morbidities, YET. I just hope that they dont turn me down. I sent 7 years of medical records, showing my previous attempts of non-surgical weight loss attempts. I just hope that this will be enough to get approved.
Thanks everyone for letting me vent... I need to learn patience!

Good luck with every thing. I just got approved in Dec. still have not got a date yet. With the holidays every thing was put on hold. Like you I didn't have any medical problems and I didn't have any problems with my insurance comp. (Cigna). It only took about 2 weeks to hear back from them. So once again good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for your support. I just need a date, thats it. Then it will seem real to me that this is really going to happen. I have my hopes up so high, and will be devasted if this doesnt work out.
