Those of us that say we are taking 5000 of Biotin I believe anyway, that it is 5000 mcg. (micrograms) thats what my bottle says'. Hope that clarifies, and BTW that is enough to aid in hair regrowth, although my Pharm. says you cant take too much it is not something you can overdose on. Kathy

Well, I had my nutrition class today and felt overwhelmed for the first time. She said to go home and read everything and then I would be better, but I am still reeling a bit. I went to Trader Joes and got the sublingual B-12, some calcium citrate (pill), and some Papaya enzyme (our nutritionist said that if you get stuck, this is a life-saver, just take one if you accidentally eat too fast or forget to mouth-puree). I bought some protein powder (100% whey) at Wal-mart because I don't really mind the taste. I got chocolate, but may get vanilla for next time to mix with fruit, but I'm not allowed to have raw fruits for the first 8 weeks anyway, so chocolate, here I come. I already had kids chewable multiple vitamins. I still need to find chewable iron (any suggestions?) Other than that, I'm set. Can you think of anything else I need? My surgery is Tuesday (1-27), so I am getting ramped up. I am getting excited/worried. Seriously, today with the nutritionist was more anxiety for me than meeting with the nurse or the surgeon. I will definitiely need you all to depend on for my post-surgery mental health support. Yea Renewed Reflections!
