Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Great idea- I just bought Scooby vitamins this week as I was out of Optisource and just couldn't do $30 when I can pay $4! They are yummy, and I hope they work well!

Thanks for this thread. I saw the scooby doo vitamins, but didn't know how they were compared to flintstones. I will have to try them next time I have to buy some.

I took my multivitamin this morning, along with by B-12 sublingual and my calcium chew.

I will take another calcium chew after lunch and again after dinner.

My doc said for me to go on any multivitmin and thats it. I'm not confident enough to take the pill form so I started century chewables. He also just retired and my 6 month bloodwork is next month and I'm going to start going to my pcp. When did you go on B12, after the first bloodwork panel was done to see what was low in your body?

I went on at my 1 year blood work. I knew that my B12 was going to tank, so I warned my doc. at that time he said i was borderline. So, out of an abundance of caution, he started me on the inhailer. been good ever since.

very interesting line of conversation!
2 Bariatric Advantage multiple chews
2 Bariatric Advantage calcium citrate chews
1 vitamin D3 1,000 iu
1 coromega - omega 3 supplement

my surgery center advises all patients to be sure to take bariatric vitamins - i am curious about the number of people who take flintstone or other children's chewables - are you getting enough of the daily requirements for people who have had bariatric surgery? i am certainly not trying to be a smarty pants - i am honesty curious to know how your labs are coming out.

I don't know who you were asking, but I will have my labs done next month at 6 months and I guess will know then. Kinda anxious to know. I was taking bariatric advantage but my doc said it was not necessary he first told me to take 2 flinstones but I hated the taste, (but thats just my doc, he is diff. than most) and there were more out that was cheaper, but I personally liked the taste better. I am doing century chewable and they are cheaper. But I take nothing else except biotin.

Also, how much biotin is everyone taking? My bottle is 1000mg and says just to take one daily but I thought I heard some taking 5000mg, so I was wondering if I need to increase?

My doc retired so I feel I am on my own on this.
