Default First Day Eating

Hi everyone,
Had my post op Dr. visit yesterday and got the okay to start eating. Had 1/2 cup of pureed, strained, cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. Thought I died and went to heaven! HA! This morning was decaf tea and 1/4 cup of scrambled eggs. So far, so good!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

GLAD your post op visit went soo well.
GLAD your moving up the food rungs and doing well.
MY ulitmate fav at your stage was my microwave noodless
lasagna....

i took lowfat mozzerella cheese, lo fat ricotta cheese, red sauce
and heated! WAS heaven and full of protein.

OTHERS take the ricotta cheese and mix with some cinimon and splenda for a sweeter yummy treat!

GOOD LUCK and we are here!
DONT forget to keep getting those sips in too!

your off to a wonderful
start
hugs

Default lol lind!

That sounds just like me when I could start to eat. Anything besides clear liquid for three whole weeks, sounded and tasted just like a BIG OL TURKEY DINNER. Personally, I thought that was the toughest part of the post-op. NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT AT ALL ANY TYPE OF FOOD FOR THAT LENGTH OF TIME AND WATCHING THE FAMILY EAT WHATEVER. Hang in there, it only gets way better. JUST WAIT UNTIL THE WOW! MOMENTS START COMING.
