Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | well by no means am i an expert but the reason i heard for the no drinking issues tend to have come from the fact they push the food to quickly thru our pouch and then we will get hungery sooner. ITS best the food stays put and keeps us full longer, and that then focuses on why we should eat proteins more then any other food because they keep us full longer. NOW when your later out usually if your appetitie starts to increase then your taught to water load. AND drink down water 15 mintues before your meal so that you eat less. SO based on that technique in the early months water before the meal will fill us too soon. JUST what i hear whats right? who knows...another one of those varying by surgeon things! sort of like the pre op protocals...some are on liquids weeks before, some days before, some no liquid diets .....how each surgeon has different ways ofs bringing patients on to foods. SO i think some things are confuseing this being another one of those!!!!
