Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Question

I am 3 weeks post op and have not lost anything the last week. I am getting frustrated. Here is what I ate today:

B) Hot Tea, with fat free creamer w/ 1tblsp honey (tried scrambled egg, took 2 bites, didn't sit well)
L) 1/4 cup salmon
Snack) Beef veg broth (protein supplement)
D) 1/2 cup Healthy choice chicken soup (pureed)
Snack) 1/4 cup Tuna

Total Calories: 675
Total fat grams: 3
Total surgar: 16 grams

Now I believe we are suppose to stay under 1000 calories? Please let me know if I am eating the wrong things?

Tammy, hang in there, you are doing fine.
Your weight isn't going to come down in one fell swoop, it's going to come down in humps and bumps, so no need to stress over every little thing every day.
Do you realize you are obsessing about food in a different way than pre op, but obsessing about food nonetheless, by obsessing about the numbers on the scale?
Take a deep breath, relax, find something fun to do, if it's warm outside, go for a walk, tend to your garden, etc etc.
I am sure you are feeling better day by day, so take advantage of the good feeling, enjoy the day!!

It is funny you should say about being obsessed with food. I was never really obsessed with it, ie (emotional eating , eating out of boredom, no willpower) I just didn't get in 3 squares a day and didn't always eat the right kinds of foods. Not to mention lack of activity! But I see what you are saying, I seem obsessed with what food I am eating. And yes, with the scale too! I guess I waited this long (all my life) to be thin, I guess I can wait a little longer! Thanks
