Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

today, I was to try and add 1 to 2 soft proteins in place of my protein shakes... I don't want to cause my body to freak out too much, so I did 2 of the same soft protein

#1: protein shake
#2: protein shake
#3: protein shake
#4: 1/4 cup egg beaters
#5: protein shake
#6: 1/4 cup egg beaters
#7: protein shake (haven't had that one yet)

liquids include greatly diluted vitamin water zero - 20 oz
water - 20 oz (about)

so I think I'm doing pretty well with getting my fluids in

I tolerated the egg beaters (both times), so I'm pleased with that.

Leslee, I hear ya girl, been there all week with that going on, I think it's finally gone now, thank goodness!!

Tricia, looks like you are doing well progressing to new foods. Bet ya never thought egg beaters could taste so good huh? Keep up the good work.

Post Workout ~ 1/2 RTD protein shake
Breakfast ~ protein cereal, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup lactose free milk
Snack ~ SF pudding, tangerine
Dinner ~ salad w/boiled egg and tomatoes, ranch dressing 1/2 slice of pizza

Calories 797
Protein 74
Carbs 87
Fat 21

Didn't put it through myfitnesspal, but I had a tbs of raisins and a SF cookie! That adds about 100 calories to my total.

My grandbaby is staying with me tonight, so we had a little snack before bedtime.

I actually like eggbeaters - I try to keep them on hand for when we have scrambled eggs... of course, before the surgery, I ate more than a 1/4 cup!
