Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I'm still pre-op but "practicing." Here's what I had yesterday:

B - SF Slimfast
L - 1 cup ham & cheese cubes, 1/2 cup SF jello, & 1 can V-8 juice
D - Subway club & cup of broccoli/cheese soup, Crystal Lite peach tea
S - (on the way home from church) Sonic's onion rings & more SF peach tea - sigh ... it's a long drive home!

This is why I need to "practice" now!

DEB i think its great your trying out good eating
habits pre op! I think getting into that last
super syndrome can be dangerous.
I know for me, if my surgeon didnt require
pre op weight loss i probably would have gained
20 new lbs in the process of waiting my surgery.
KEEP up the great work!

Oh, absolutely! And I get into it sometimes too! I seem to swing from really being good at following at least a "pre-op" diet to sheer panic at what I won't be able to have "ever again." The other day after doing so well all day long, I was driving home from work when suddenly the thought popped into my head .. "OMG! I'll NEVER be able to have a milkshake again!" Now .. it's probably been 5+ years since I've had a milkshake, but I pulled into the first fast food place and ordered a chocolate shake. I couldn't even get half of it down before it made me sick and had to throw it out. I'm diabetic and never eat that stuff anymore and it was just too sweet. But it was just one of those mind tricks that I succumbed to. I have to work hard at not just eating everything that doesn't eat me first!
