Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Well, I did it. Last night along with my soup I tried 2 Tbsp of whipped mashed potatos. I made sure they were very thin (not thick) and ate slowly. They stayed down and felt good. So today I am introducing one egg white. So far so good. Its nice to have something of substance in my mouth again. And I am chewing, chewing, chewing this little egg white to mush! But it is fun! Hope it all stays down! ![]() |

I never had a problem with eggs, but potatoes were another story. I mentioned earlier on another post that its amazing how your tastes change after surgery. Got the "lump" every time I ate them. But yes I do remember eating mashed potatoes and feeling like I was eating real food again. |
