My first social outing since going in for surgery. ![]() So all in all I had 600 Calories (plus the calories for the crab cake taste and bites of moz cheese) and 83 grams of protein. I probably need less protein, but I'm thinking more this early out is okay? Again, I'm eight days out from surgery and so far (God be praised) I have not had any problems and all the food I'm trying ( and yes, I only try one thing at a time) has been staying down. I am drinking at least 50 oz a day of water or crystal light in addition to what I drink above which includes liquids. So this is just more of a sanity check for me -- does this sound right? Sometimes, if it weren't for the scars on my belly and the fact that I'm not feeling "hungry", I would swear I didn't have a surgery at all, but I know that I did. I haven't lost any weight in the last two days, but I'm trying not to dwell on the scale. I have started excercising -- walking up to 20 minutes every morning. Want to get it to 30 min by the time I go back into the office. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I just started eating a half a banana (thanks Kenya) for the charlie horses, and either they came and went, or it is already working 3 days into it. It is hard to get that half down, but I dont ever want another cramp like that again!! |
