Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Talking

TEXAS is GORGEOUS right now!!!
I hope the ::::JINX::::: on your pool will be gone by July...and the summer in NY will dry up!!

I've been sleeping late....my hubby's been home.

S: Isopure protein drink
L: mandarin org's
S: Isopure protein drink
D: "Chipotle" (do you know this place?? soooo good! owned by Chili's) Anyway...I had a "naked burrito (no rice)" honestly this is what they call them....I'm not just hormonally crazy!! LOL!!
It's a burrito w/o the tortilla - It had pulled-pork, black beans, diced tomatoes, cheese, and guac!!
YUM YUM YUM....

I'm going to TRY the leftover thing at lunch....oooooh I hope history doesn't repead itself!!

working on the water....had a small sip of OJ...I miss this....does anyone know if oranges are ok?? I know diabetics will drink OJ to get their sugar levels up...but is it tooo much natural sugar for us?? Just curious??

thanks....

OKAY DEB....just my view here
ORANGE JUICE....has 26 carbs, a bit high for us...and the sugar way exceeds my limit at 22 grams. I wouldnt have it myself personally. I
IMAGINE watered down alot would be okay. THIS contains alot of empty carbs and sugar u dont need and u might even dump from it.

AS for a regular orange, funny you ask but i had homemade fruit salad yesterday and it had orange in it first time post op...and guess what...
my tummy couldnt handle that pulpy wedge and after my fruit salad
I barfed! SO my experience is to suck the juice out of an orange and not eat that pulpy skin pieces that are in an orange.

HOPE it helps just my view, and just my experience.
I know i was told to stay off fruit juices of that type early post op.
GOOD LUCK

Unhappy

WOW...more stuff I didn't know....thanks.
I'm a little sad that I won't be able to enjoy this anymore....
and NO WAY would I water it down...why have it at all! LOL

My Gramm has an Orange tree and a Grapefruit tree that I've been eating off of for the last 37yrs of my life...I can hardly imagine...not eating from this tree anymore...
I know I could try it...but, I am not willing to risk 'dumping...'

With anything off the store shelf, make it a habit to check the nutrient info on the package, so you're well informed of how much of what you are eating/drinking.

I just checked. Fresh orange (less the peel) contains 11.2% carb (fructose, as the sugar in fruits is fructose rather than glucose) 0.9% protein, and 0.2% fat. So, 100g (approx 3.5oz) of orange is worth about 50kcal.
