Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | My eating today is not good at all. I had problem in my stomach since last night snack time I had pop corn and didn't settle well. I had horrible pains and couldn't throw it out! So this morning before I'm gone to work I had my chewable vitamin pill which made it even worse. I had heart burn since the morning and still there. B: 1 whole wheat taost with cheese cucumber and tomato water water water S: strawberries and sugare free apple juice water water water L: lil vegi soup, chicken (vomited it all!) water water water S: brown flakes with skimmed milk (didn't feel good wanted to throw up but coulnd't) S or maybe D: I had one peeled off cucumber Bad day eh?!

| Super Moderator | Chuppy, if you are still feeling bad, then you should call your dr ASAP and be seen to. You may need to have your stomach examined by endoscopy. I just hope it is the popcorn that is the original cause, but if the pain and vomiting continues, stricture will have to be ruled out! (((((((HUGS)))))))

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | CHUPPYGIRL, sorry to hear popcorn gave u pains! I was not able to handle popcorn till about 10 months out. EVERYTIME i ate it cause me pain. ITS most probably because it expands and swells in our tummy and hurts the new smaller tummy. EARLY out u need to be careful of "EXPANDING FOODS" they will cause pain and discomfort and i would never want anyone or even yourself to rupture your healing staple line. IF the pain persists call the doctor but for me popcorn was a no no and the first time i had it was about 6 months out and it caused me alot of pain! Usually would last me till i moved a BM !!!!! YOU will learn in time what your tummy can and cannot handle ((HUG))) feel better soon. lisa
