Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Mri  I FIT!!! -- I had that elusive MRI today for this back pain / numb foot of mine... and I FIT IN THE MACHINE... mind you, my arms were touching the tunnel - so no way in hell that a year ago I would have fit! And for those of you that care to know... yes... the ink in my tats heated up a bit - felt like I was lying on the hot sand on a sunny Florida beach - no pain, but it was an odd sensation. So, 2 weeks or so and I'll know if the MRI will reveal the cause of this pain!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Hi 2X, are your tats old? Usually only the older tats (8 years or older) heat up. The inks in older tats can contain metal . If you feel them heat up let the tech know so she can put a cool cloth on them. Burns can occur in these tats depending on the type of scan sequences and the tesla of the magnet. I wanted to pass this along in case you ever have another scan.
