Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Weekend Of Wows!! I guess I'm at the point they told me I would get to....I was instructed that I would lose about 75% of my excess weight (I've actually lost 92%) and that I would have to really WORK at the remainder....10 pounds from goal, and it seems like I'm stuck once again...! I'm sticking with the plan and hoping for ONE more whoosh to put me at goal....DDH says if I have skin removed, it will more than likely put me BELOW goal...which is OK....I want to have room for any bounce back....I'm really happy with the sizes I'm wearing and I get SO many compliments! We went to my son's concert Friday night (he's in a hardcore screamo band thing) and I stood for 2 hours with NO complaints WHATSOEVER...I wasn't even tired when we were walking to the car. Also went shopping with my daughter Saturday...and I LOVE shopping at her stores...so many cute things to buy...I tried on TONS of stuff, but actually bought very little. The kewl part is that we shopped for over 2 hours in the mall (walking & walking), and I wasn't even begging to stop and sit down. On Sunday, DDH and I spent the day working in the yard...I went for hours without stopping....I have so much freaking energy any more and it feels great to be able to go and go and not have to take 28 breaks to rest. We re-ladnscaped the entire back yard, went to WalMart and Home Depot in between, then worked some more. I was like the freaking ENERGIZER bunny...I just kept going & going....I'm sore this morning (AND SUNBURNED), but it felt so good to be able to do things I haven't done in ages.... My new mantra is "I WILL GET TO GOAL, I WILL GET TO GOAL!" It was a great weekend full of wows!!! |
