Talking GUESS what I can do???

Russ and I took Isabella to a Safari today here in TX at a place called FOSSIL RIM - soooo cool...mostly animal indigenous to TX...with a few Giraffes and Zebras....OMG.....the giraffe put his ENTIRE HEAD in our car sun roof....soooo fun...I'll send pictures when I can....Isabella LOVED it!!!
Anyway....my point was....

we were at the 1/2 way point walking to see the cheetah's ...and I figured out I can "once again" manuvre my arm around my back to scratch my shoulder blade.... and this struck a funny conversation where Russ was like "you go girl...being all flexible...." and just commenting about how fun it is for him to watch me "transform"....he also commented that I don't walk the same. I said..."I know...I'm not walking like a 'Fat Girl' anymore!!" - We laughed...

I'm sooooo thankful for this surgery...and the change in my life. I'm not doing the greatest right now...for some reason...as I'm struggling with the "Back pain thing" - I'm also struggling with keeping food down...or with the foamies. I really hate running to the kitchen sink or the toilet!! I've had to get sick in front of 'Bella a few times....she's been saying a lot, "Mommy's sick" Or praying to God "Help Mommy not be sick...heal Mommy's back..." - soooo sweet! (but, I don't like to be sick in front of her!)

I know this is all a process....and hopefully the foamies will not last long...and I will be feeling better after I begin physical therapy this week.....

I miss you all ~ and am thankful that I could steal away again tonight to the cafe and read more of what is going on with you all....
Hopefully I'll be back up and running soon....
Lots of LOVE

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awwwwww
I sure hope you'll be feeling better soon.
At least, you do seem to be well enough to have an adventure with your family at a safari.

You must have lots on your hands and lots on your mind, but take one day at a time, and you're sure to do fine.

Default Thanks Doc!!!

Doc....I am feeling 'relatively' better....I hate that I have to take a pain pill to feel a little more normal....but, I can't live the next few weeks 'layed out' on the couch/bed!!!

I am beginning physical therapy this week...hoping to gain more and more mobility...and able to get off the pain meds....I don't want to be on these things.....

Femme...
that sucks about the foamies and throwing up, but it sure to subside soon, and you did say you are feeling a little better?
that's too funny about being able to reach around and scratch your shoulder blade, can't wait for that. this may be too personal but is wiping after going potty any easier? i have to twist and contort my body like i never did when i was thinner, just hoping that changes and is a weight issue and not an old age issue.
last night Roo said he can't wait for me to have the surgery and start losing weight because from what he sees when i'm sleeping, (hey, wait, he watches me sleep?), i am pretty flexible and contort myself into all kinds of weird sleeping positions. I am hoping to eventually be able to get back to gymnastics, i'll never be an olympic champion but i still like that form of excercise even though i can't hardly do anything anymore.
Did you get a good pic of the giraffe? i love giraffes, well i love all animals, even the scaly slimy ones.
Hope your feeling better than better, maybe you can get off of those pain pills soon.
Good luck with your move by the way.
talk to ya later

HEY DEB! congratualtions on the WOW moment!
GOT to love them!!!! even something like that to
cool.

IF YOUR not keeping food down on a regular basis you
should be discussing this with the surgeon. IT shouldnt
be all the time!!! HAS he mentioned be checked for a stricture???
sometimes thats the problem and you need dialation at the
opening! PLEASe make sure your discussing this with your surgeon.

I know for me it was i ate to fast that gave me foamies but not every meal...just now and then! GOOD LUCK!
love ya

I know that for me the foamies is sometimes a result of a cold coming on or allergies with the whole mucus buildup thing. The worst part of that is that when it happens I have a hard time drinking water too. It is so hard to drink when you have the foamies.

Red face Thanks you all....

I'm doing great....talked to my surgeon about my eating problems yesterday...and he suggested I was possibly doing a couple of things wrong.
  1. Eating too fast
  2. Not chewing good enough
  3. Eating too much
I think it is the too fast and possible too much. I have corrected this in the latest meals...and haven't had one problem!! WOW....it's a learning curve. I'm glad to have this as my "warning!!"
