Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Today was a GOOD day! We all know this journey has it's good and bad days....and today was a really good one for me! Please indulge me while I share. Since it was Mother's Day my hubby quietly got up with the kids and let me sleep in- and when I woke up my daughter and put all these homemade gifts by my bed so it was the first thing I saw...so cute! Then my hubby's gift was I got to go shopping (alone!) and get some clothes since the bag lady look is so out! I went to Ross to try to save $$ instead of Lane Bryant. At my highest weight I could almost never get clothing there since their 28's were too tight. (LB must cut them bigger!) So I grabbed a 24 thinking it would be tight and that is ok since I will lose more soon. IT WAS TOO BIG! What?  Noooo that can't be right. Grabbed a 22.....fit great! WHAT?! If they had a 20 I would have gotten it since tight is ok! I can't believe it? Then I grabbed a 2X top (from a 4X before at Ross) and IT FIT!!!!!!!!!! HUH? I just can't believe I went down that many sizes and I still have a long way to go! So that was really cool.THEN today is my 4 month Surgiversary and today I hit my 80 pound weight loss! Another wow. THEN at lunch today with my family 5 people noticed I had lost weight since they saw me 2 weeks ago- it seems like the last 10 pounds are really showing and people are noticing a lot more. It was a really good day! It felt good to feel good even though I have a long road ahead of me. I am nearly half way there, and today made me feel like I could make it for sure! Thanks for letting me share it! And you know when I have a really bad one I will share it too!
