Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  The sweet sound of success - WOW!! Before I had the surgery, I bought one of those old-fashioned doctor's scales with the sliding weights on the beams. Figured if I was going to lose weight, I wanted to keep accurate track of it. A couple of times now I have heard the sweet sound of success as I moved the big weight (50 lbs) one notch to the left. The first time I was moving it from 250 to the 200 mark, and then again to the 150 mark. There is nothing like that "clunk" as it settles into that new notch, nevermore to move up the scale!! da perfesser
