 |  The sweet sound of success - WOW!!
Before I had the surgery, I bought one of those old-fashioned doctor's scales with the sliding weights on the beams. Figured if I was going to lose weight, I wanted to keep accurate track of it. A couple of times now I have heard the sweet sound of success as I moved the big weight (50 lbs) one notch to the left. The first time I was moving it from 250 to the 200 mark, and then again to the 150 mark.
There is nothing like that "clunk" as it settles into that new notch, nevermore to move up the scale!!

Oh I just love those scales, my hubby had one at his work and when I would step on it pre-op I would just get so sad, no more...I can't wait to weigh in on those scales when he gets home so he can see I no longer need the 200+ slide bar....WTG on your success you have done an amazing job

I got this scale from eBay. It didn't cost a whole lot, but the shipping was something to factor in to the purchase decision. I forget what I paid for it, but it was worth it, whatever it was!
