 |  Finally can play with my grandkids.
Wow was it a long day for me today. I should say a full day of wows. First off my daughter calls if I can take care of the grandkids today becasue the babysitter could not take care of the kids today. So off to town I went and took care of my grandkids today and at 10:30 we were off to the baseball diamond for tee ball practice. I did not drive we walked to practice which was about 4 blocks away and then while he was at practice I took my granddaughter to the park to play at the playground. I told my grandson to come to the park when he is done with tee ball practice. Well I am telling you those grandkids can put on miles and I kept up with her. It was from the swings to the slides, which the park has three slides and two merry-go-rounds, it was a morning of going from one to the next and then my grandson came to the park and I let him play for almost an hour before we headed back to the house. Then I made dinner for them and then I let them watch cartoons sor about 2 hours and then we were off the my moms house which is 3 blocks away, well my folks were not home so I just looked at their garden and then headed back to the house and then I played ball with the kids and then I watched them drive their bikes and then my granddaughter wanted me to pull her in the wagon. So I walked almost 2 blocks pulling my granddaughter in the wagon, and then I played ball again with the grandkids until my daughter came home from work and then I left for home where my husband was waiting for me to plant half of the garden. Which it took from 6 to 8 pm and I said that is enough for me today and going to finish the garden tomarrow if it does not rain, but we have the most important veg. in the ground now. Now before surgery I would have barely made it one block and would be so tired and I would have never done what I did today. It just really surprised me today how much energy I had today and those grandkids can put miles on. At least I am a grandmother who can play with them and not sit at the sidelines and watch them. Two weeks from now I am going to have them for a week, cause my daughter has to go to Nebraska to learn the new software that they are going to use at work. Then I will take pictures of my grandkids and post them. I hope the weather is nice so that I can take the grandkids out for walks.
