Last year this time I couldn't keep up with my garden because we had lots of rain and I would sink up to the top of my shins in mud. I didn't have the energy to work it. Too much trouble, so I let it go. Now, I have been working in the garden and loving it. I have the energy and the stamina to make it work. I was gone for 3 weeks and the weeds took over while I was gone. Some were as tall as me. I got in there and cut down the tallest one by hand. I also got down on my hands and knees and pulled the ones that were choking out my veggies. Now it is beautiful. This time last year I gave up this year I am just getting going. Life is grand.

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to take care of a garden, I was in those shoes for many years and it was so hard to take care of, and my garden was only in the big tractor tires and tanks. Becasue I did not have to bend down, and this year I am just so excited about my garden and I am in it just about every day. I just got the last of my plants in today, I planted cauliflower(16 plants). I will post some pictures when my veg. are taller. Most of it is up except for the flowers I planted yesterday and the radishes I put in a few days ago and some this morning also. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that my buttercup squash are not up yet. On our way in to dinner today, my hubby told me that i spend to much time in the garden and that I need to slow down. I love being in my garden and working with it. I have so much energy this year and I just love it. It has been so many years since I could work in my garden and not get tired. This morning I planted the flowers and radishes and then I put in all 16 plants and then put coffee cans around all of them and I watered my whole garden with the wand, and still had lots of energy.
