I went to take my daughter by a friend's house to give her a birthday gift. My daughter has played ball and been friends with her for years. When we go in, the little girl's mom just goes on and on saying how "skinny" I have gotten. Even the little girl's grandmother comes over and says "surely you aren't going to lose any more weight. I just looked at her and grinned and told her that I wanted to lose about 30 more pounds. She said "Where? You would shrivel up and blow away."
Last night, I was telling my husband about it and my eyes teared up. A year ago, do you think I would have ever thought that someone would be telling me that I was skinny and that I didn't to lose any more weight. I only wish we saw ourselves like others see us. I am definitely WAY closer to my goal than I was a year ago, but I'm far far from skinny.
