Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  It's official! I'm doing great!! Had my 6-month checkup yesterday, and all the nurses were agreed that I am their poster boy for a successful outcome. I have lost 77% of Excess Weight Loss by their reckoning. Average EWL for one year out is about 65%. The nut says I'm doing the right stuff, and we just made one minor adjustment going forward. They agree with my math that I've lost over 100 pounds. Their tables say I should be at 160 (?!?!?!?), but they would see no problem at all if I settled here and maintained. To celebrate, I lost another pound this morning!!  Thanks for all your support. It sure makes things easier to have friends who've been there and done that! CT
