So, how is your journey going?
Have you hit Onederland? That place below 200lbs?
If you have, CONGRATULATIONS, and please post in this thread, tell us how you feel, what was easy, what was difficult, what were your first thoughts when you realized you have passed through the gates of Onderland.

| My journey has been amazing....I'm 9mos post op...and I've lost 134#'s...I'm thrilled with the rate I've lost...in the last 6mos. it's been a lot slower...but, it's taught me a lot. I've been a TON more conscious of "my part" in this journey...rather than just as as "spectator"....the first 3 mos. was just a time to get used to the new way of living....and to enjoy the rapid weight loss. The next 3 mos...I was concentrating and focusing soooo much on, "why am I loosing so slow?"..."why am I loosing so much hair?"...."am I ever gonna reach goal at this rate?" The last 3 mos...have been a learning, growing emotionally, shrinking physically, participating in the journey....it's been the most rewarding 3mos. That's amazing to even say b/c I've only lost about 25#'s....but....I've been working at it....feeling positive...seeing the results. Its' been amazing!! Quote: |

| I "OFFICIALLY" hit onederland today, January 30th 2007 - 199.0#'s My first thoughts were, "I hope this is real...." I took a picture to commemorate it...I will post it here when I upload it! LOL (unofficially yesterday...b/c my first step on the scale said 199.6 and then second was at 200.0...and I didn't want to count it!) | |

I officially hit onederland on Jan 29. I thought I was dreaming. I had surgery Oct 3 and on surgery day I weighed 289 lbs. I started my WLS journey at my heaviest of 314 lbs. I wanted to hit onderland by 1/26 which was my birthday, but my present arrived late! The last time I was in onderland I was a freshmen and college. Today Im happy to be back here and say goodbye to the 200's forever

Hey all! I've hit onederland as well. I've been over 200 lbs for sooooo long! I'm now at 196. I feel great and am getting used to portion sizes and what I can tolerate. It hasn't been easy, but am overjoyed with the weight loss. I have finally gotten back into a pair of skinny little stretch jeans that I bought about 2 years ago (when once again I had dieted, lost, and gained it all back plus some!), and I feel sooooooskinnny in them!
What an amazing journey!

I hit onederland Saturday Fed 3rd, 5 months and two weeks after surgery. That made me 128 pounds lost since surgery. What an amzing feeling. I haven't seen the one hundreds since High school. I'm down from a size 32 to a 16 (I'm half the size I once was). Although I'm loving the transformation, I'm also suffering from some major depression.
