I'm down 100. I feel like I'm going to wake up from a pleasant dream and find that it didn't realy happen. It's great to fit into things besides "tents" and life has improved an undecribable amount. I am off all me diabetes meds. and of course have more energy.
At 8 mos. out, time sure has whizzed by. I can eat anything without any ill effects, as long as I chew well and slow down. Looking forward to looseing another 100#. Having been a fairly moderate to slow looser on any previous diets to WLS, I know that I am someone who needs to exercise to boost my metabolism. I need to get serious about an exercise program in order to achieve my -200# goal. I hope to be there a year from now. I never thought that I would have lost 100.

| You Betcha! I have as well. WOO! HOO! It was surely a WOWER! I started on August 1st of last year at 247, and am currently 145. I FEEL GREAT. It was very easy, actually, for me. NOT IN OTHER CASES THOUGH, AND I FEEL FOR THEM TO BE HONEST. I had no problems what so ever since my surgery. I am, for sure, where I want to stay. I am finding this stage to be a little harder though, with cravings some days, but feel with the knowledge I have gained through all of my support people, and knowing what has to be done, to maintain my weight, I will do just fine. I do, see myself doing wonderful with the maintenance phase of the surgery. It is harder, as I have said, but know I can do what it takes to be forever thin. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY! I LOVE YOU GUYS.

| Yesss I belong to the Century club!!!!
Hi there my name is Hanadi I'm from Kuwait! I did my surgery back on April 18th, 2006. 5 months after I gave birth to my 2nd daughter Dana! I was 335lbs but I had been in worse shapes than 335! I was so depressed and sad in my life. Nothing would make me happy!
My life has began after that date, it wasn't an easy recovery since I had my surgery open. I had some infection complications afterwards! but looking back at the amount of weight I was dropping every month if somebody would ask me: would you go through the pain of surgery all over again I would say ABSOLUTELY YESSSSS!
I've lost 2 pounds over the 100! and I still have to lose around 80 pounds more. I'm watching what I eat lately, and add up more exercise to my daily routine. I admit I used to lose faster in the first few months I guess I'm in the honeymoon stage. I love every stage in this journey! I've lost 14 sizes down from size 32 to size 18! the other day one of my workmates saw me in the shopping mall and was 1 ft away from my face and she was staring at me and asked me: Are you Hanadi? I nodded my head and then she repeated the question again in a louder tone ARE YOU HANADI? I said yes I'm Hanadi and you are Haifa! and she was OMG you're a different person even you're smile is different!!!
when I was over weight my fat accumulated in my hips and thighs, I was away from work for over 5 months and when people first greet me back they were staring at my hips instead of my face because the difference was gigantic I guess that was a wow moment for me and was a bit embarrassing I was blushing to be quite honest hehehe
I wish if I have the power to shake the over weight people and beg them to wake up for this merciful surgery. I was born all over again on the day I did my surgery!

Hi All,
I have not been around as much as I used to but I have officially made it to the century club. As of today. I am less then 4 months out, I had surgery on Oct. 3, 2006. I am very happy with the results so far, I have gone from a size 32/34 to now a 16! People dont recognize me at all anymore and I get compliments everyday.

| Hi Everyone! I have officially made it to the CENTURY CLUB!!!! Wow! I can not believe the difference 100lbs will make. I started off at 287 (296 being the heaviest I ever weighed). I too have more energy and a bit more confidence!! I enjoy playing with my son and am confident that I will be there for him in the future! I can almost eat anything right now--but in much smaller portions. I do watch myself because I never want to be back where I was. I have about 40 more pounds to go before I reach my goal-I never wanted to be skinny! Thanks guys for the support!!

I had by surgery on April 27, 2005. I started out at 242 the day of surgery (open rny) and now I am holding at 132. I am 4' 10" tall and I have gone down from a 26/28W to a size 8P.
I still get wow moments.
When I went to the eye doctor for new glasses this week I still was in the old mindset of getting "large" frames to hide behind. My face used to be so huge that I would always buy the biggest frames I could find.
I came out with these really petite little oval frames that I fell in love with. And I got the best compliment in a long time when the nurse/receptionist said "you have such a tiny little face, why hide behind ugly frames?" I almost cried.
Thank God for the WOW MOMENTS. May they never stop....................
Willa
