Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  My first major WOW moment. I went shopping the other day. I didnt plan on buying anything until i lost alot more weight....but my pants were just falling down and I couldnt help it. I used to be a size 24....i planned on buying a 18 but I said i will take a 16 to the dressing room. WELL I said ill try on the 16 first....I got them up!!!! They were snug but they fit!!! I never thought I would drop so many sizes sooo fast!!!!! I feel like i have such a spring in my step now...like a new person. It inspires me to stick to eating the right way !!!! Ive also noticed heads turning from ppl who dont know about my WLS. I laugh inside and smile.

Example: I wore my 16 pants to church yesterday and saw my sister. She hasnt seen me in a month...I had told her on the phone about my new size. I dont know what she expected a size 6 or what but she says to me. Oh well your still "wide" and dont have a waist. GRRRR took that spring out of my step. Oh well you guys make me feel better Thanks!!!!!

| Excellent!!!!!!!! I have to admit, those moments ROCK! They really do keep you on track, and keep the stamina of what you need to keep doing, going. I never, in just five months, thought I would go from 40-42 jeans, down to 30's, with plenty of room to spare. You are doing beautifully. You have to pat yourself on the back for all the hard work you are doing to shed those dreaded excess pounds. Somedays, it isn't as easy as others, to stay away from some things, but with the help of our family here, anything can be done. CONGRATS AGAIN, yma. I am very very very happy for you. mike |
